The Artwork
THEMES: Virginia shapes natural elements into symbols and stories from her life, as a way of navigating hidden realms of mind and memory. Some paintings, like "Clarion", are based on small doodles she made in notebooks and elsewhere. Some, like "Septaria", are based on mineral studies. Others, like "DComposition", are done in quick, instinctive strokes. Virginia has experienced healing and insight through art making since she was a young child, and is currently exploring multi-media and fabric art through her work in the field of Art Therapy.
MEDIA: oils, acrylics, collage, assemblage, cartoons, drawing, design, photography, multi-media, fabric art
